Yes! I will build and install your website, adding your copy, imagery and brand elements to the template you have chosen. At the end of our week, you will receive a fully customized website that is ready to be shared with your community.

It is always possible to add pages to the original website template. During our Strategy Session, we will discuss in details the content of your website, and how to better structure your content to create a seamless experience for your visitors.

Based on your goals and services, we will determine if you need extra pages. If you do, there will be an additional cost per page, based on the complexity of the pages to add.

I have built the one-week website experience around a simple and streamlined process that is adapted to each of my templates. This means you receive materials tailored to each template. In the Website Copy Planner, you are guided through each page and get access to specific copy prompts.

For this reason, I will not be able to work with a template from another web designer.

To get started with the one-week website experience, you will need 3 important elements

• Brand Assets, ie. a logo system, a color palette and a selection of fonts, at minimum. If you don’t have these ready, we can work together to build these brand assets before building your website, or you can also hire a brand designer. In any case, I highly recommend you go professional and avoid DIY solutions.

• Professional imagery - headshots, product shots, lifestyle shots… depending on your business.

• Your commitment and availability. You will need to set time aside for this project, to go through the questionnaire, write your copy, review and share feedback…

As part of the one-week website experience, we will start a brand new website on Squarespace 7.1. I will not install the website template into an existing Squarespace website, or onto another website platform.

If you already have an existing website, I will provide support and guidance to facilitate the website transfer and I will take care of all the technicalities required for this transfer to go smoothly (redirect, domain connection, etc.)

My first choice by default is Squarespace, mostly because of Squarespace’s easy-to-use platform and interface, as well as its costs.

Squarespace is a great choice for smaller businesses that are not entirely e-commerce based and have a limited budget as Squarespace allows you to combine beautifully services pages, blog, portfolio, courses, etc. with an online shop.

During our Connection Call, we will review together your goals and e-commerce needs for your website, and taking into consideration each platform’s capacities and limitations, I’ll guide you to make an informed decision about which platform is best suited for your needs.
